Each year Search One Rescue Team endeavors to host an advanced level K9 seminar with the goal of advancing not only our own dog teams but those from other teams and agencies. This effort started about fifteen years ago to speed up the lengthy process involved for our handlers, and it proved to be very effective. Several years later we decided it would be advantageous for us to open it up to outside participants and use their knowledge as an additional tool for growth. That too proved to be very effective. Fortunately, it has grown to become one of the more respected K9 training seminars within our SAR arena.

Therefore, we welcome you to the process. We have secured highly qualified instructors and intentionally geared this seminar toward the more advanced handlers. As always, the goal of this seminar is significant advancement for teams already certified or well into their training process. Building foundation into young inexperienced teams takes significant time and that results in less time devoted to the more advanced teams. If you are a beginner, you are welcome to register as an observer, or take advantage of any of the other regional seminars that offer basic level categories.
